Re: Coronavirus update

I thought the Vic government had done away with contracted 'security' guards.

I do take issue with the facts of that piece, given the UK variant is allegedly 70% more contagious, NOT 70 times more contagious. If the 'reporter' can't get that right, what other facts are being misreported?

Well another concern is that the mutant virus is more clingable to the ACE2 receptor which might mean will seriously affect a wider range of ages due to a greater viral efficiency

After a year of patchy mitigation , the UK must be running out of vulnerable geriatrics , so who are being admitted to hospital now ?

Next week they will clarify it, we meant 3 weeks not 3 days. But one thing you want enough of is masks as kmart had them for $9 for a box of 50 on saturday when they announced mandatory masks, then at coles today and they are selling them for $45 a box of 50 and this was in NSW.

Can they reduce the cost of dunny paper ?

Re: Coronavirus update

Word on the street seems that hotel quarantine is not working to well in QLD so plan B option is being considered - dedicated remote area facilities

Who knows maybe at the end of a railway line , easier to keep distancing on a train, distancing from the public as well from a pr viewpoint , while in transit, and can use obsolete out of service carriages - and the town at the end gets some unexpected employment

Can be single story portable units with compound out back for sunshine and exercise , hobbies and interests - could use same facilities later for genuinely and proven highly skilled guest and migrant workers, A-listers and B business investors ( serviced units )

Need not be a hell hole

Have you ever considered writing a fantasy novel? You would have to brush up on your vernacular.
