Health care workers and associated people should have been tested every day - yeah I know the expense.... so how much more expense now at stage 3 ?
Congratulations State penny pincher$

I reside in Victoria , stage 3 lock down in Melbourne , more or less unoffical stage 3 in my rural town of residence - does not help employment prospects but am doing study for a career job in demand - a little tense with the developing situation - virus and employment issues as I need placement to graduate..
Something to do with a State pandemic is obvious to me a impediment to smooth and safe development, and awareness of hurt of victims is a downer.
Then I get text message from the the crystal castle declaring from August 4th I need to resume meeting job search obligations...or else my financial supports will be threatened
Can these people take a break from the cocktail parties and observe what is going on ?
If a State is in emergency anti-pandemic mode at stage 3+ then surely current federal Govt support status should be maintained until stage 2- is achieved
They wants 10's of thousand of people running around attending job interviews - and what jobs at stage 3 ?

We will have to wait at least for the 14th day of mask wearing to see if the numbers are coming down and the masks are working.
But those numbers are frightening.

WOW, things apear to be getting worse, not better. Either too many people ignoring health messages or going to work and study is spreading the virus.

The deer say it can not happen here - we allow workers to go to and from old age facilities without daily testing , lack of protective gear - took the federal govt to first mandate face masks , we do not test the cooks and support staff
Suddenly 63 aged care facilities are infected at the same time and over 500 health care workers .....with now Victoria a pariah State
I suspect even Spirit of Tasmania trans Bass Straight passenger ship will be sailing from Port Adelaide now
I can sense a Royal Commission
Next might be NSW - if they allow the mass protest ( with the after protest festivities) and evaluate infections about a month later
Same pattern : VIC festering outbreak at quarantine + Protest march + one month
NSW : festering outbreak at some restaurants + protest march ( pending) + one month ( pending)

Meanwhile back in S.A. our young niece who is quarantining for 14 days after returning from Victoria is receiving very regular drive byes from the police. She is averaging over 20 km. per day walking around the outside of the house. ( she's a fitness nut ) The police pull up, she gives them a wave and they drive off.......![]()
They are obviously keeping a close eye on her and taking the stay at home message VERY seriously though.

Shes staying at the extended family holiday house, Getting very bored and going a bit stir crazy, watching all of the joggers and dog walkers along the beach at the front of the house.
Every couple of days we take her a T/A coffee from a different establishment each time. Just a little treat to break the monotony.
