Could someone please tell me how to go back and find an item I bought 2 yrs ago as I can't seem to find where I bought this item...

on here?....with these systems??....sorry, I gave up years ago, I keep printed, hard copy print outs so I have record both pictorial and listing description.....in hard copy files. Call me what you like but I do it like this so I can 'flick' thru and look at whatever, whenever I need ......mainly because epay dump or drop or erase much data as to their designated timelines.......mind you for them it's all about saving $'s on their data systems not about service.

Go into 'My Ebay".

Click on Purchase History.

Click on Archived.

Click on the year from the dropdown.

Bit hard now I think, but for the future.......

Open a folder in your email program and put all your purchase notifications in there. DOn't put every email, just the ebay purchase ones, and never delete them.

You'll have a record forever if you keep the computer records.

If all else fails and you paid via Paypal, you should be able to find it in your Paypal account transaction history.
