Re: Could this be true? I guess it depends what you read.

Yes, that is how it is.  Just as when during the Yugoslavian war Muslims were being slaughtered while the "peace keepers" pretty much watched on, the reports talked about ethnic cleansing but never mentioned that it is the Muslims who came out of that conflict badly off, while the Christians (catholic and orthodox) divided their land between themselves.

that's not quite true is it.

i remember the news reports about

the 'ethnic cleansing' where whole

muslim villages were being torched,

muslim men were being tortured and

massacred and women raped.

i specifically remember the headlines

about the 2015 october bombing in

ankara. (seems like it was only yesterday)

it was during a peace protest ?

and it certainly made news headlines

so i wonder what else on that list is not

accurate.

Re: Could this be true? I guess it depends what you read.

Quran (2:244) - "Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things."

Quran (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward."

Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…"

Quran (8:65) - "O Prophet, exhort the believers to fight..."

Etc.

The Qur’an contains 109 verses imploring muslims to battle with non-believers. There is no instruction on what type of weapon is to be used.

It would appear that ISIS intends to carry out the instructions in the Qur’an and ISIS is comprised true muslims.

The Qur'an is silent on alleged muslims unwilling to join the struggle. Perhaps ISIS sees those alleged muslims as targets as well.

Not sure if it is accurate or not as I have seen these events in headlines but I read all kinds of stuff. There was another bombing last year https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Ankara_bombings

Re: Could this be true? I guess it depends what you read.

Africa is probably one place where things go unreported  or at least they don't make headlines like other places. The Martin Place seige is considered as a terrorist attack by the rest of the world because of poor media when it was just a nutter that should never have been given residency in our country
