Arcacia today is not the day to voice your opinions, iI wont take you to task today out of respect for those who have fallen.
Tomorrow is another day and then i will defend their remembrance.

Just got back. Small village. Very nice turnout.
As usual the wife go very emotional. Her Grandfather was a Gallipoli vet.

That's what is all about isn't it ?
Not the should have, would have, could have, it's about THEY DID.
And I for one remember them, thank them, and hope the rest of the country agree with or disagree with..... remember it is about the diggers, not the politics.

Whilst respectfully 'remembering'........just thought I would drop in to point out that it was/is POLITICS that leads to the creation of Anzac Day in the first place!

I thought it was just decent people, remembering decent people, silly me.
I am going to leave it here, I have no wish to besmirch this thread, or the OP who started it, and less to disagree on something so close to my heart.

I didnt go to a dawn service but was a good turn out for a run to Strathalbyn RSL
