Yeah, good luck getting him to sleep while it's still light.

Re: Daylight Saving starts tonight

Yesterday I cut up some apple for the birds about 3.30 for their afternoon snack.

Today I don't have to do that until 4.30.

What am I going to do with the extra hour, today?

Hardy hardy har!

Why would it confuse the baby?

Don't all babies work on "I'm Hungry NOW" time?

Re: Daylight Saving starts tonight

My friend was complaining that due to daylight saving her 7yo woke her up an hour early (she sleeps in her bed). Given it's the start, if the child normally wakes at 7, wouldn't she wake at 8? I thought when it changes back would be the issue.

Only thing I'm finding today is it's getting late early.

Soooo, how much does your friend normally drink?

I thought April would be the problem with kids waking early too.

Dinner time is not a time,  but when you eat.

That's what makes it dinner time

Re: Daylight Saving starts tonight

So I'm down at my house for the long weekend. Anyway there is a gorgeous little gift/antique shop about 90 minutes from here on the way to Canberra. Part of my big plan was to drive there today because I have a couple of birthdays coming up and I knew I would be able to get just the right things at this shop (not antiques, I don't understand antiques lol). So we got up late, went to the beach, came back to the house for coffee etc and off we went. The shop shuts at 5 and we planned to get there by 4, leaving us an hour to browse. You can guess what happened. We have changed the time on our watches now....

Well that wouldn't have worked anyway but 30 minutes would have done.
