One night they chomped through about 15 baskets of impatiens.
Then onto the yummy roses, geraniums.
Now I've decided to set up an area of succulents in pots which I love and have read so many remedies for
spraying tham (the plants ) on the internet and don't know where to start.
I have bought two little flashing led lights in vivid green which I'm hoping will look like
evil eyes, lol.
Anybody had success with deterring them? I won't trap them and relocate as I know they die in a new area and I'm am actually fond of the \little critters. .

How do they work? Does a light come on, or a sound, or does their head turn? There are some on ebay. Meanwhile here's a photo of the little flashing lights i got that look like Evil Eyes but I haven't tried them yet. They look scary to me. I don't think the batteries would last long though.

Stawka, the plastic owls that do nothing, do not work.
I havent seen the ones Az mentioned.
OH put up spotlights out the front at one stage...........did nothing with the possums, but kept me wide awake

We had a very bad possum problem in the neighbourhood about 5 years ago.
Every morning they thumped across the ceiling, coming home to sleep
in our roof. They are incontinent and stained the ceilings.
Someone (not me) decided they had had enough and poisoned them all.
Then they came home to die in my roof. Stunk for months!!
Haven't seen one since.
No new ones have claimed the territory Go figure

bright.ton......I havent seen those owls at at bunnings or anywhere here.
Stawka, we had a possum that lived in one of our chimneys, that was until OH put wire over the openning.
My sister in law had them living in the ceiling, she finally last year had to get a new ceiling and had to have the roof redone to stop them coming in.......
Living in The Dandenongs possums are a real problem, everyone up here has a problem with them, even the rose farm that I get my roses from at Silvan have possum problems...........I dont think we will ever get rid of them as long as the council says they are a protected species....
