As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed. The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.
This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.
and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says
The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.
Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.
"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

When the conservatives are in Government and don’t control the senate and a lot of what they submit it is blocked it suddenly becomes undemocratic and against the will of the people
Let's award them a gold medal in double standards and hypocrisy. They truly have earned it 😄

The government's latest media monitoring deal came into force on New Year's Day - a $170,000, six-month contract to monitor news for the media-sensitive Department of Immigration and Border Protection. Labor spent $110,000 for the same thing but the-then Coalition opposition listed it as one of "50 examples of Labor waste and mismanagement under the Gillard government" in it's so-called Little book of big Labor waste
so if the libs spend money on books it's OK but if Labor does it's waste and mismanagement??
OK! lol

who was lying?
I posted a photo and asked you were it was from, then I found out it was from Afganistan and I said so
it's all there in black and white
there doesn't seem to be any access to tony's surprise trip photos... all very contrived and tightly controlled by the PM's office
very odd indeed!

is this supposed to be a deflection from the book buying hypocracy??
it isn't working

if they are the only recent photos available on the net from abbotts visits to our troops, you can't blame people for thinking they were the right ones
