Police also said the man and woman are facing a range of charges, including entering a premise with intent, stealing, seriously assaulting police and obstructing police.
Honestly - seriously assaulting police and obstructing police?
Just because the woman tried to stop the police from bashing the man? One can see that the woman ran towards them after the police man has already hit the man several times.
Even if the man was stealing anything, police have no right to physical abuse him.
What a disgrace.

well, there you go OP, it seems there are posters
here who witnessed the whole thing and believe
the police should not have felt threatened.

So what if they were threatened (by a legless man), that is no reason for punching him.
A percentage of police officers is threatened every day.
Leopards brutal police officers do not change their spots mentality.

pepper spray...yeah right..any other alternatives?

I noticed it took 4 police officers to subdue a man who had no legs.
They train 'em well up there

We didn't see the before video..................... so we have no way of knowing why the show of force by the police.
It is under the spotlight though, so I guess the truth will be known.
Assault police..................... we all know you can't raise a hand to a police officer.
I also don't believe the arrestees are innocent of wrong doing...... the police aren't that keen.
