I've noticed I seem to respond more to hay fever these days but don't remember it having much of an effect on me when I was younger.
I also noticed when I eat prawns now I get a slight itchness which I don't recall ever having.
Is this an age thing???

Thanks Stawka.
It's hard to follow what goes on here sometimes
I was on Bob's side in hoping there was a chance and way to help improve things for his mate.
Maybe not a cure, but some sort of promise and hope of a future outside of an institution.
It's very hard to lose brilliant minds and gentle souls to mental illness.

I hope all your allergies get best as you get older.

What happened? Was it a wind up
No, it was probably ebay mods messing with History . . . again.

Perhaps Bob's friend has a severe case of allergy to the 21st century.

It was the worse windup at it's worst.

From my observations, bob throws a bomb in and then
sits back and watches the mayhem.
But this time, there was a lot of input

Be fair. We don't know if it was a wind-up or not. Seemed real to me. And if it wasn't real, it still raised the question of how we relate to those who experience mental illness.

Back on topic.
There are allergies and there are sensitivities.
I'm not allergic to anything, though at times I experience hot flushes when eating oranges or tomatoes.
Not always, but sometimes.
Is it a reaction to the fruits or a reaction to how those fruits were grown,. . . . what chemicals were used in their growing? I can't tell.
Is it an interaction between those things and other things which I might eat or drink?
