Religious thing?
Religion being what it is today I would not think anyone would bother fasting, could be wrong?

Martini, as an ex Catholic myself we used to have to eat fish dinners every Friday at school. (pommie)
I don't know if it was because Jesus' disciples were fishermen.
I still eat fish on Good Friday, but it is purely for tradition and not because of religion. Usually prawns. Yum!

The only day of the week we eat the same meal is Friday so tomorrow we will be having steak, egg and chips with lovely fresh bread Yummmmm.
I am Catholic but since I left home I have not eaten fish on Friday.

We do the traditional seafood dinner and its done just out of tradition.
Tomorrow we are having mussels in white wine sauce, a platter of prawns, seafood rice dish (like a paella but done my way) and salad.

We have always done it as well, tradition.

I might eat fish tomorrow, but only if I'm lucky enough to catch it first tonight.
A nice big barra would go down a treat 😛
If not it might end end with snags in bread if I'm too lazy to do anything else 😞
