People with tattoo's aren't criminals just because they have a tattoo though. Some you wouldn't know they even had one.
No females around 40+ getting tattoo's then?
I didn't say that it made them criminals,
Please don't twist my words, I meant exactly what I said.

The problem is that in Qld anyone with a Tatt is treated as if they were a criminal, Newman even wants people with tatts to have them photographed and recorded with the police

Sorry about that What is the stigma you see attached to tattoo's then? If it is not : if you have a tattoo you're a criminal in QLD?
Then what is it.?
Are teens silly because they get a tattoo? Are men in their mid 40's with tattoo's 'old men in a mid life crisis'
What would you call women in their 20's , 30's and beyond who chose to get a tattoo?. not silly? not old?

well, it is an identifying feature. (and admittedly subject to stereotypes)
I could never see why someone would want to mark themselves with an easily identifyable feature - same opinion extends to personalized number plates - they just make you more easily identified.
BTW, I'm a fence sitter on this issue - I can see good and bad in it.
as I said, it might cause a few of those who get tattoos for "silly reasons" and spur of the moment decisions, think a bit harder befiore they do something so permanent. I think that's good.

It is not illegal for anyone over 18 to get a tattoo. To want people with tatts photographed and recorded with police??
Would that apply to someone who had a teeny tiny butterfly tattooed on their butt? Where would it end?

That's not what I said, I said it may cause some to think beyond "that'd be cool" who get tattoos for silly reasons - ie in search of self identity etc. or maybe to "fit in with their mates" kinda thing and then regret them later.
I did not say that all tattoos were a bad choice.
These were the two demographics that I thought of, there may be others.
Please, just stick to what I wrote, eh?
