Bernardi: I was right on gay marriage and polygamy
on 18-06-2013 08:32 PM
Senator Bernardi also stood by his controversial comments last year that the "next step" after recognising same-sex marriage was to support "creepy people" who chose to have sex with animals.
"Best iality, of course it was an extreme example, but once again it's linked to the radical agenda of the Greens Party," he said.

What a croc. Just because a group has used the Gay marriage debate to springboard their own agenda should not take away from the central issue of legalizing gay marriage. Besides polygamy is a choice...

Did you know that paedophiles have said their condition is like gay people.. and that it is a natural thing and that children have the ability to decide whom they love????
And did you know that the DMV manual also implies that it is a disease that cannot be changed.
The advocacy groups argue that the age of consent needs to be lowered and that criminal charges should not be implemented. Although the groups have not gained momentum they still hold that argument.
As much as I do not agree with Cory's comments on lots of ideas you really need to do a bit of research to understand where he is coming from. He has a deep and true concern that should be respected.
I see where the concern comes from... there are groups that argue their point... and there are people that hold a deep and genuine concern that allowing one change will lead to many more changes. I think that we need to respect those concerns and not punish people that think differently.

I think Mr Bernardi needs to back away from that kind of comment.... unless he can support his beliefs with evidence based claims..... and ask the media to stop misrepresenting what he says.

what rubbish, he's simply a nut with archaic and incorrect views. he doesn't belong in public office. and yes Donna, cory and tone are good mates.:-)

Just because someone says it might lead to other things does not make it so.
