Why do you ask?
There seems to be a bias in your recent posts.
What do you think? Why don't you tell us?
Why do you ask a question that you know the answer to?
In that, the world will not get rid of alcohol, so the question is irrelevant.
I'll counterpost -
Do you think the world would be better off or worse [sic] off without chocolate?

"Drunkenness is nothing but voluntary madness".
Seneca The Younger
โChocolate symbolizes, as does no other food, luxury, comfort, sensuality, gratification, and love.โ
Karl Petzke
So perhaps a tougher question is..
Do you think the world would be better off or worse off without Cadbury Old Gold Rum n Raisin Chocolate?

The problem with substance abuse, is that there is always another substance.

I eat Lindt, so I can't comment on Cadbury products.

Not necessarily. There's a time and place for it.
But I feel it's become over-promoted and way too readily available.
Taken in excess, it's destructive and debilitating.
I hated the way Dan Murphy's pushed alcohol for Father's Day this year. "Give Dad what he really wants".
