He has. That is what Jesus was about. He died that EVERYONE'S sins were forgiven, past, present and future. Even the people that persecuted Him and murdered Him. His last words...Forgive them Father for they know not what they do.
How exactly does someone dying forgive everyone's sin "past present and future" ????
The people that persecuted and killed Jesus was merely doing what God wanted, coz' Jesus had to die right. Even Judas was following God's order.
I have asked this question time and time again. What exactly does Jesus Dying prove? What exactly did he sacrifice???
The basis of Chrisitianity is the belief that God sacrificed himself to himself to save us from himself. Sounds crazy right. But it's true.

Bob, the reason Jesus became man was because God saw that manking could not live by Law. Jesus was the end of the rule of Law and the beginning of living under Grace.
Who created the rule of Law??? Why torture and kill someone to make a point???
The idea of Atonement is morally reprehensible. Do you even know it EIEW??? I never got why Christians think it's OK for someone else to pay for your crime if you weren't guilty of it in the first place.

And Jesus had a choice. At any given time he could have renounced the Father. He was not an unwilling martyr.
Jesus IS GOD and one the same. So this whole torturing and killing is just a waste of time.
Why is this story so hard for you to get?

not if they are a Sadist (a person who gets happy when inflicting pain on others or seeing others feel pain)
That is not happiness they feel.. it is gratification... HUGE difference....
if you are going to make comments such as this then maybe you need to go to university and do a four year degree so that you can come out with something that is close to accurate....

Yes Iza.. that is what I said... gratification...
you said they get happiness...
there is a difference between happiness and gratification / pleasure.

It was never about Jesus dying. It was about his resurrection.
Which proved that Jesus sacrificed nothing. Even historians all agree that there's no evidence Jesus ever resurrected.
If you want to have faith in something. Have it in something honourable and moral.

I don't know about that. That's mere semantics.

Happiness is from within.. it is a state of mind...
gratification and pleasure are derived from an external source.
