All entertaining Drag Queens have to hold a Blue Card.
- The events are child-appropriate and are staged by trained performers who are Blue Card registered.
Therefore totally up to the discretion of individual parents - ie - those who actually have kids.
What about the drag queen that read to kids here in Aust who had uploaded pics of himself fondling other men's genitals. Blue card too?
What about (where was it, US posssibly?) where drag queens did some kind of lewd dance in front of the kids. Was it pole dancing, twerking, or mock strip-tease? i can't remember.

I'm sure level headed parents would weigh that up. But one incident in Australia and one incident in the US hardly suggests all drag queens are dangerous perverts. That is why many parents have to make careful and sensible decisions without jumping to paranoid and discriminatory conclusions.

If you want to debate on a subject then be my guest. That's as far as our relationship goes.
Now that we have this understanding, aren't you concerned with gender bending stories being read to little ones?
@4chan, were gender bending stories being read to the kids by drag queens?

A young Sydney schoolboy fought off a man who allegedly sexually assaulted him in a public toilet, then chased him down to ensure he did not get away.
It’s alleged a 70-year-old man sexually touched the 13-year-old boy in the toilets on The Kingsway at Wentworthville on Monday afternoon.
Security vision following the alleged attack shows the boy, still dressed in his school uniform, chasing the man down the mall after fighting him off.
That young lad obviously didn't get the message that it's ok for men to randomly touch boys.
He probably didn't spend time in a Catholic Children's Home.

DOM!! You didn't actually READ that, did you? Did it ever describe what a drag queen is " in the sexual sense"? Bots make my eyes glaze over, sorry.

Someone also not polarised like others the left vs right paradigm. I see icyfroth as someone who thinks beyond the picture to look at a bigger picture.
Yes kids play doctors and nurses, mothers and fathers but now they have a push by someone dressed in drag to add something else to the mix.
High morals? I read in an archived thread that she isn't legally married, I don't think that fits your description , does it?

Most parents tell their kids where babies really come from. Most of those parents wouldn't want drag queens reading to their children either. I don't know why you would ask icyfroth such a question
How many children have you known 4channel?
Apart from the fact that drag queens are men dressed as women, what else do you know about these story readings? Have you ever been to a library when children's story time is in progress?
The story times that I have been associated with required parental permission for children to attend and parents were encouraged to be there too. If they could not stay they must deliver the child/ren and pick them up afterwards.
The sessions were age appropriate so I was usually involved in 2 different sessions as there was a 4 year gap between my girls. I usually took the younger girl and the elder girl went with a neighbour and her girl.
We had some amazing story tellers.....people who read the talking books for the blind, drama school students (including a couple who are well known on TV and radio now and one actor who is unashamedly gay now).
Unfortunately back in the 70s and 80s we were not lucky enough to score any drag queens....that would have been amazing.
And guess what....nothing untoward happened at all.....and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
THANK YOU!

Why push drag queens then? What's the agenda?
Why would you assume I've had a sheltered upbringing?
Icy, dear old thing, you DO sound both sheltered and naive, as well as rather antiquted in your attitude. And perhaps a little jealous? Draq queens re usually quite lovely in their working personas....just sayin.......
