On my only post on this thread, I mentioned me and the better half deliberately took our young kids to a gay party to introduce them to people with different relationships to our own and show them that we where OK with it. We wanted our kids to judge people on their merits, not their sexual preferences, race or colour. ( similar to the drag queens reading in schools really )
Seems to have worked as I was at my now young adult sons place earlier in the week and he had a few friends over. His friends are generally arty, alternative types who record music digitally, posting it on the web and performing in clubs in the city on the weekends. One of his friends is a guy that wants to be a girl or perhaps it was the other way around. Cant remember and don't really care. He / she is a talented young photographer who is already travelling OS on regular occasions as the official photographer for International rap musicians on tour. Neutrally dressed, not in your face, just a nice, creative, transgender young person that I,m happy to have my son hanging around with.
As I said earlier, the young ones have already put this issue to bed and moved on. Once us older generation fall off our perches it wont be " a thing."

Everypne's had experience with gay ppl.
I had a gay uncle, who had several gay friends who were invited to our home regularly.
Of course I accept homosexuality is a fact of life. But "gay" doesn't necessarily mean .transvestism or gender assignment.
What I can't accept is men glammed up in women's clothes. camping it up in a library reading to children.
If we want our children to accept this as the norm, what else would they grow up to consider normal?
Pornography? Pedophilia?

What about women dressing up as men ?
Pornography? Pedophilia?
Well, that didn't long for you to infer that gays are naturally guilty of theses two crimes.
