I have to do a menu for a fund raiser. I have to do it as a Soup Kitchen and I need to get ideas for the different types of soups that we can serve.

Pea and ham is always a winner. Pumpkin is dead easy and everyone loves a minestrone.

Pumpkin and minestrone for me too.
Depends on the cost of the ingredients and what's in season, as well, if making in large quantities, e.g. Tomato soup would be very expensive to make.

I had forgotten about the minestrone and someone has offered to make tomato as she has a lot of tomatoes in her freezer.

I love leek and potato. Also potato pea and bacon.
For more adventurous tastes, what about Moroccan spiced chickpea soup. There are some good easy recipes on the net.
I really feel like making soup this weekend now.
