Has everybody had theirs? I made an appointment for my shot for Monday 30th, which supposed to be the 1st day they had the vaccine, but when I got there they were out. I have been calling now daily, and they keep telling me they did not get any. Today I was told to call next week! The government says we should all get it; yet they did not order enough for everybody?

I dont care about the F------ virus at the moment, my hospital appointment has been cancelled because of the Virus, now I feel thrown on the scrap heap ๐
I am just thankful I am not in Pain but worry about others who are.
That's what I'm worried about, the 'flu shot, I mean. I've never had one before, and I hope I don't get sick from it.

You cannot get sick from the flu shot unless you have an allergy to one of it's ingredients.

I only had the flu shot once, husband was Ok I got pains in legs back arms, could not sit stand lay down with out pain BUT husband was Ok no pain at all.
Think it just depends on you and your body, DNA, immune system and so on

No you don't get sick from the flu shot, but if you're coming down with something when you have it, you'll wish you hadn't.
I tried to make an appointment, but they said the gov't hadn't sent them any.
Assured me there would be some after Easter.
Who knows?

Sorry to say yes you do.
I asked my doctor about it at the time and she said some got bad muscle pain and some did not. this is when I was living in Aus

If you say so, but I've never had any reaction, and I was just repeating what my doc told me.

Some people do get muscle aches, but this is the case with all vaccines. In a way it is an indication that the vaccine is kick starting because of the way it activates the immune system. The aches seldom last longer than a couple of days. If they do then it is possible that the aches may be related to another cause and it is a coincidence that they commenced around the time of the vaccine. Best to discuss with your doctor, as you did.
