True - although as I demonstrated, anyone really serious about not buying halal certified products can obtain a list very easily siply by googling halal certified foods.

It is very much the point. In this case there was a valid argument to be made that there should be more transparency in halal labelling. Unfortunately that argument was severely weakened by a misleading and ill considered choice of words.Using emotive, melodramatic and completely inaccurate language to describe a situation,  leads people to believe (rightly or wrongly)  that the user doesn't 'have the faintest idea what he/she is talking about.and is simply peddling propaganda.

In the context of products for sale in you local supermarket I guess the oposite of choice would be monopoly. For example Coles and Woolies seem to be pushing more and more of their homebrand products so the choice of alternative brands is becoming more and more restricted,. Which is why I don't shop at Coles or Woolies if I can help it.

According to the helpful list of Kiwi expressions and phrases I found on line, http://www.chemistry.co.nz/kiwi.htm the opposite of "Choice" would be "Not very good", or perhaps "Not choice".
