I went to 7-Eleven tonight to get a bite to eat, grabbed a Four'n Twenty pie and gosh it was halal.
Traitors! How can they do this?
I put it back in the warmer then drove to a local Italian restaurant and we had pasta carbonara.

So I guess UFO, other than halal, you are fine with the other contributions to the advancement of the modern world attributed to ancient Muslims like coffee, toothbrushes, optics, universities, the beginnings of hospitals etc

If he finds argument with that paragraph, then he should indeed
contact the priest at The Catholic Weekly.
To argue the point further, it seems, would be against the Catholic Church's
advice and directions.
If the muslims reckon the God is the same ask any muslim to convert to Catholic, I betcha they wont convert.

See below:
Exodus – Chapter 20 THE FIRST COMMANDMENT
I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them.
1 Corinthians - Chapter 10
If an unbeliever invites you to a meal, go if you want to, and eat whatever is put before you; you need not ask questions of conscience first. But if someone says to you, 'This food has been offered in sacrifice,' do not eat it.
but the sacrificed food was the clean food.
the unclean food was what was delegated for human consumption

If the muslims wont eat my food, why should I eat theirs?
Why do muslims need to label my food?
They should label their own and leave mine alone!

If you are a Christian the only way to go to heaven is to follow the 10 Commandments of God and the scriptures.
so what's all this end of the world stuff in Revelations? When God promised Noah, way back in Genesis, that after the flood, he would not destroy the earth again?

I'm a vegetarian and they label food for me.

So if a pair of elephants had 2 children, eventually, in order to increase the population to the numbers of today, there had to be some pretty close personal encounters amongst famiy members. God was the original scientist. He knows everything. He designed it. How could he not have known this? Why did he not know this when only commissioning one Ark. Why didn't he commission 3 or 4 Arks so he could load 6 or 8 of each kind and water down the gene pool a bit?"
2 of each animal?
The way I read it : a pair of each unclean animals; and 7 pairs of each clean animal.
fair enough, but then how many of the clean animals were sacrificed in Genesis 20 and beyond?
And according to that, then God did make unclean animals
I call shenanigans.
Why the need for clean and unclean animals? Why the distinction when the majic trilogy of the Jews, Christians and isrealites.hadn't surfaced then?
Why produce clean animals for sacrifice and leave unclean animals to eat and repopulate the earth?
Plus, doesn't the bible only talk of sacrificing lambs?
how many animals were sacrificed - some were when Noah got out of the ark - but since they were in the ark for over a year, one might assume that more were born during that year?
at that stage God decided what was clean or unclean as far as sacrificial offerings. As you rightly say, the laws defining clean / unclean were not passed to man as law until much later.
The Bible doesn't talk JUST of sacrificial lambs? The Israelites used to sacrifice all sorts of things - doves, calves, lambs etc - but never any of the unclean animals - pigs, camels etc. Earlier in the piece (see Cain / Abel) Cain offered fruit and vegetables so the offerings must have been from whatever each man / family produced.
The ultimate sacrificial lamb was of course Jesus.

so if there is only one God, whose God doesn't exist?
and who came first? The Muslims or the Christians?
