Freya Newman To Join The Greens

THE student who leaked details of Frances Abbott’s scholarship has been selected for a position with The Greens.

Freya Newman, 21, was successful in securing a paid internship in the office of Greens Senator Lee Rhiannon after the part-time position was advertised in November 2014.

“Following an extensive application process involving over 160 applicants and two rounds of interviews we offered the position to Freya,” Ms Rhiannon said.

“Freya was an outstanding applicant and we are very much looking forward to having her on board.”

Freya outrage gone a bit quiet?

“I am very grateful for all the kind words and generous offers of support I have received over the past couple of months, including several requests to help cover my legal costs,” Ms Newman wrote.

“As my lawyers all appeared pro bono, the only expense I have incurred is a $159 court fee, which I will happily pay out of pocket.”

What a ridiculous statement. 

I think you need a reality check, or at least to access the policies of the Greens.

Unlike other political parties,  the Greens have not been involved in any enquiry into corruption.
