Son needed motorbike jacket - a good one - can I get it for him for Xmas and no gift needed then please mum ?
No worries, but now come Xmas morning I will feel oh so bad not giving him something to open, and yes I have done this in the past and yes I am soft, but how many other mums and dads out there have done this ?
Be kind to me...........

My best frind lives in the US, her daughter was born on Christmas Day. The girl was 12y old when we met and my friend told me how the whole family ignores the fact that it was the girls birthday as well. I started to send two parcels for the girl each year. One in a Christmas box from Australia Post and one separate one wrapped in brown paper, but underneath that was a Happy Birthday wrapping and a large card with the separate present.
My friend proudly displayed the gifts and card, and when other kids aked why Sarah got two presents from me, she had to remind them that it was a birthday s well.

My eldest grandson will be 38 on Neew Years Eve. He never made a fuss out of his birth date, so I was wondering why all his mates on Facebook only wished him a Happy New Year with the usual batchelor jokes.
When I posted on his wall; "Happy Birthday my number one grandson." all hell broke loose and his mates threatened him with all sorts of evil things, for not telling them that it was his Birthday.
He'll be double celebrating this year, and I told him to take a taxi and leave the car at home.
