Bob was asking/ telling people what the Scriptures said and was challenging what people believed - A belief in the Word of God comes from the heart, and one has to expect that when that belief is challenged, it will be defended - and what better way to defend it other than referring to the source?

Moot point anyway - hardly any actual Bible scripture in that thread....

Before you can discuss this from a Buddhist point of view you need to understand Buddhism.

EG you need to answer why some Buddhist monks are very violent and reconcile that with their branch of Buddhism.

What about Jainism?Would you like to discuss the obviously hypocritical beliefs of jain buddhists?

they claim that

A)God is in Everything and that therefore nothing should be harmed

and

B)they kill plants to eat to survive.

Surely this is hypocritical.

The problem is that if they do not kill something to eat they die and therefore they are hypocrites whichever way it is looked at.

So we can discuss buddhism and the belief that God is in everything but at our first stop we see the hypocritical teachings of this sect of buddhism.

Which sect do you belong to so we can dissect it and show it is also hypocritical.
