"China is rolling out a program to have RFID chips in all new cars to help with congestion, pollution, and public security.
By forcing car owners to have chips installed on their windshields, the government will also help bolster the domestic chip industry.

And if you think cash has gone the way of the Dodo or Dinosaur, try paying an account with a cheque. I still use around 100 cheques per year as it allows me to record written details of business expenses etc, but it is slowly becoming harder. The banks no longer issue the plastic folders that the cheque books slide into and very few suburban / domestic type businesses accept cheques now.

Luckily most of the more commercial businesses still accept cheques from long term, existing clients, but will not take on new accounts with cheque as a payment option. ( although they still love to receive cash, no invoice...... ) I,m just hoping cheques stay around for the next five years or so at which time I,m planning to slow down a bit and move into working / semi retirement. It wont be my problem then.
