Men and their sheds Hawke !!! lol
It must be the week for it because I've spent the last two days de cluttering my art room too. Have a box of old paint that STINKS and "stuff" to throw out......can't be buggered driving down to bring the bin in, will get it tomorrow on the way back from town and then I might have an extra square metre of space !! hahaa
jGot a bit sidetracked and started a painting, then moved some hung paintings around....found an etching that I bought at an estate auction in Perth. I hadn't been able to find anything about the artist but had another go yesterday and found him !
His name is Axel Tallberg from Sweden and the etching I have was done 1883, of a fisherman. It was amongst a box of old prints and frames which I got for $2....bargain....but...I also got a box of books for $2.....only problem they weren't in english lol There were sooo many beautiful pieces of furniture, lamps etc but at the time we were alwasy moving around and couldn't really have a lot of possesssions.
Hmmm, it was 4 degrees yesterday and 6 this morning !!!!!!! 8 tomorrow then back to double didgets thank heavens........that will be enough winter for me and I promise not to whinge about not having any cold weather again. Days are absolutely beautiful, clear blue skies and cool enough to sit out enjoy the warmth while having a cuppa and reading.....perfect.
What have you lot been up to apart from clearing out rooms ?
Any plans for the weekend? Going for a ride hawke ?
