Australia Post are going to have a different commemorative $1 coin starting on the 30th for twenty six weeks to hand out in their change

I'm going to have to buy some new pages for my coin album

We've already had a heap of different circulation coins this year what with the new obverse effigy

Unfortunately this stupid phone doesn't always allow you to share via clipboard so I can't provide a link but if you have an Australia Post account you can check it out

They were on ebay so quickly and sets of the first six
Something dodgy
Australia Post should have arranged with ebay to prohibit the listing of them

The ones who have stacks to spare and on-sell would be friends and family of staff -

is my bet.

Or staff themselves who have others that will on sell them.

The same thing happens with the Safeway coins and when the new bank notes come out.

Some are making a living from the coins and notes by being able to get them first.

You will never get a first prefix note these days as they are all kept for certain people to on sell.stubborn_smiley_by_mirz123-d4bt0te_zps12f1a5a3.gif

You can but you need to pre order from RAM and pay a fee.

Kopes - I did go into the RAM.

Nothing.

The 26 are not available to purchase.

It seems their agreement with PO - a good money grabber.

Keep in mind - you spend to get - add that to the value of the circulating dollar. lol

Martin - perhaps check out the RAM first.

Uncirculated will retain & gain value - rather than circulated in change.

Post Offices are taking orders for a Folder + RAM Roll of 26 x $1 coins.  These will set you back $49 ($40 for coin roll + $9 for folder) . . . meaning you pay just $14 above face value BUT you are guaranteed ALL 26 coins and you get a folder.

I ordered some at my PO this morning.  Seems there is not a limit as to how many you can order.  Also, no payment required until the coins arrive (next month).

There were some of these Folder + RAM roll selling as pre-order on eBay a few weeks ago getting up to $125 . . . seems to have settled now at around $69 + postage
