Did you ask if they had any before you bought?

I would've....and if I didn't ask, and I didn't get one in my change, I'd be asking why not.

Didn't think to ask first and I didn't say anything after
Maybe they don't have any left
It is Thursday so I've probably left it too late
I better try next Monday

Re: Great Aussie swindle

You sound like my hubby.

Never complains to the right people.

Just moans about it later.

Ask first, if they don't have any, then it's not a swindle, and you keep ya money

Re: Great Aussie swindle

As it is the coin ' hunt ' - there is no guarantee a certain $1 coin will be in anyone's change.

Just the luck of the draw - they are likely scattered among heaps of $1 coins.

domino, yes. I know it's luck of the draw but usually with a similar style of promotion they have a large number of the initial release to incentivise people to start collecting

Re: Great Aussie swindle

Agree - but don't think they will search through the till for an individual.

Saw all the ' stuff ' for collecting them - storage etc - when down the street yesterday.

That's where the money will be made.
