Has Community Spirit lost its Community Spirit?
Certainly feels a different place to me

Perhaps the message facility needs some kind of restriction applied to it.

someone once posted a picture of me on here, from an eBay lunch meet sort of accidently, it was only here for a few minutes, but some trolls got their hands on it and made the most of it for awhile 😞

it wasn't her fault she posted it PH, she wasn't to know what some of the people here were really like

No we don't NEED any more restriction in our lives. What we do need is for people to take responsibility to act in a decent manner. More restrictions will not change peoples actions.
Block them if you don't want the messages, simple.
Asking for more restrictions is like we're happy to have our life dictated to in what we can do or say just like the discrimination laws Labor are trying to foist on us.
Social engineering has never worked. See the Arab spring, the end of communism & the fall of despots.
People will only put up with so much then watch out.

Yes, you can, I had a look but to allow messages that are welcome and not "hostile" or related... you need to have them on your friends list. i think?
on 23-01-2013 11:44 AM
we didn't always have this message facility, we used to do it through the member messages? harder to do and less likely to be abused. I have only ever had 1 unwelcome id pm me.

Az have a look under message settings. you can block chosen id's from sending you messages. It's something new I've just learned

Some people may spend too much time (according to others) watching TV, in a club, drinking, gambling talking on the phone, playing online games on the computer, using the internet... should we have 'time' police now? ( ones that tell you you have spent too much time doing this or that.. how that affects them I don't know).
