They are supposedly meteorological experts? So it's prob. true.

what is the truth ? thats a very odd question considering an overwhelming majority of climate scientists have made it very clear. try looking at the current situation in australia without pre-concieved views.. its so b obvious things are very different here now, i don't need articles from o'seas newspapers telling me it isn't happening.. i can see it for myself.

LL we were spun the b about global warming and when evidence started to come out it wasn't happening they changed horses and then claimed it was climate change.
Well things have always been changing
Sahara desert once a lush green forest with a large population

So what in practical terms and as far as our planet is concerned is the difference between global warming and climate change. it's not the fact that the climate is changing i.e. getting warmer, that is of concern - it is the speed at which it is currently happening.
Simply noting that the Sahara was once a lush green forest is meaningless. What we need to be asking is how long ago was this? How rapidly did it become a desert? Is the desert area still expanding and if so how rapidly?

GSE my point was it has always been changing and will continue to change.
The change in weather patterns I believe has far more to do with the mass destruction of forests around the world than carbon from fuels.
Just remember what all those trees have been storing for thousands of years that are now being released

man -made Warming is the underlying cause of climate change. terminology is not particularly relevant .. unless its all you have. Evidence /Proof is overwhelming and the name put to it irrelevant really.

cutting down a tree does not release carbon. it needs to be burnt.

and after it been pulped and turned into paper how much do you think gets burnt
on โ06-03-2013 02:25 PM
then it becomes carbon and a cause. no argument there.
