Here it is....
time for the injection of some facts.
the company i work for pays the following.
halal certification....$524 per year.
halal audit( once yearly) $120 per hour. maximum of 6 hours. may take longer.
if we request a halal certificate for a load we are going to export we pay 30 cents per carton......which is equal to 1.5 cents per kilo.
we do not need a halal certificate for meat sold domestically.
Must have been the per carton amount I was remembering. Wonder why they have to pay extra per load if they have already paid for the certification & audit
Guess you haven't finished the BAS?
Maybe meat is different?

We have a tank but garden use only. I don't miss tank water at all! Happy to have water from the tap, filtered through our own filters.
Tanks can contain a lot of stuff.............

It's a personal choice Debra ..... Some scientists say their is no climate change, some say there is, depends who one wishes to believe .... I have a number of freinds who live out of the town, their only option is tank water and they seem fine to me, haven't noticed any of them with two heads lol Tank water can also be filtered not that hard to do
Some people just like to argue lol

I remember my husband climbing inside our water tank and shovelling, yes shovelling, the sludge from the bottom of it while I hoisted it out by the bucketful
It was still better water than what we have now, sludge and all
I'm pretty sure everyone on tank water knows its going to collect the dirt, bird poo etc and anything else from their roof and gutters. A little bit of bird poo in 10's of thousands of litres isnt going to hurt anyone.

I've noticed that, on many threads.
You are a lot younger than some of us here. We all started life drinking rainwater, with no filters. But the world has changed.
It's funny that you think your bit of country air stays above you, recirculates and stays pure.
