Some of those pollutants in the water tank in an out-of-town property help make country folk "as strong as a mallee bull".
Due to those little bits and pieces, drinking tank water helps build up resistance to some germs - sort of a vaccine?
Just Lift Up the Cistern Lid and look in there - no microscope required or the inside of your electric kitchen kettle.
Batteries in our cars and irons require distilled water not normal tap water.

Debra The tank outlet is approx 20cm above the base, thus no sludge goes into the water ....
