the Bible is not history; it is theology. 😉
Nothing I say to you will change your mind.2000 years ago Jesus performed miracles in front of the people. They still rejected Him.This year I performed a miracle in front of people and they called me the devil. So if seeing does not make a person believe then words will do nothing.Nothing I tell you will change your mind so why bother discussing it?

"Nothing I say to you will change your mind.2000 years ago Jesus performed miracles in front of the people."
And where is the contemporary independently reported corroborating (eye-witness) support for such a claim?
There is absolutely none.
O.k, I'll leave you alone now to quibble with others who don't understand just how impossible are the claims made about JC in the new testament. You're welcome to it. 🙂

No HELL is when Islamic State invades Jerusalem and the Jews respond with force like you have never imagined. And then Hamas (which incidentally appears close to 25 times in the OT ) attacks and draws in all the countries around and it turns nuclear.THEN you can say you came close to seeing HELL.
And then you will realise that this is not a game.It is a battle for control of the earth both physically and spiritually and that none of the parties involved care how many of you people have to die to achieve their goals.
THEN you can say you came close to experiencing hELL.

seeing as a good percentage of the posts i have read on this thread are also quotes with no "credit" I didn't realise it was necessary.

I suppose you believe the alternative?
In the beginning there was NOTHING - no God, no air, no gas, no solids, no water, no space - and then there was a BIG BANG and everything came magically into existence. Billions of galaxies, each containing billions of stars and then, in one tiny corner of one of those galaxies, with a Sun just the right distance away and a moon - just the right distance away - a planet called earth - for no reason at all, with no planning behind it, suddenly millions of species of life came about, and then one of these species evolved into intelligent mankind.
Can't you see the irony in that?
If you are going to argue against evolution, Rabbit, at least undersatnd wht it is you are arguing against. The Universe did not suddenly come into existence whole and complete with everything in place as we no it today straight after the big bang. It evolved over billions of years Millions of species did not suddenly come about either - they also evolved over billions of years.
And if it seems reasonable to you that some spirit being could have "magically" produced all these things out of nothing. then why is it unreasonable to assume it could not equally well have happened without the involvement of any spirit being?
The universe and everything in it is the way it is simply because it is the only possible end result of a series of random occurrences. Had one of those occurrences not happend or happened differently then the Universe would be something different.
How many coincidences did it take for you to come into existence? If only one pair of your ancestors thousands of years ago had decided to do the business half an hour later than they did you would not be here at all. Or do you believe there is no such thing as free will and God not only manipulated every meeting and every coupling of every single one of your ancestors but also rode shotgun on every sperm produced by every one of your male antecedents just to ensure the right one fertilised the right ovum on each right occasion to produce you?

really? i must have missed those.
who else quoted someone without
acknowledgement?
i think it is common practice though -
not limited to this forum.
if you quote someone - you acknowledge them.

read some more posts then julia2010 as you have a lot to add the same comments too. don't know if that is common practice or just limited to wherever but it would be in the interests of fairness.
As you seem keen, here you go - I chose a US site it's not my fave but explained simply.
