Joz,  I asked questions on two or three other boards and got no answers at all.

Their posts were maybe 1 a week and nobody answered me anyway. For such

a large population you would think the boards would be buzzin'.  I originally didn't

go there for social chit chat, but needed an answer re buying/selling.  Nothin'!

Been more than a month now.  Like I said...gave up.

Canadians seemed to be griping a lot too

Hi Sineaterdoodah!   I'm a bit late here - I got my coffee pot chord wrapped around my neck, and then tripped.  It cut off my circulation for about an hour, but honestly, I feel much, much smartyer now!!!!

Waving hello to the Americans among us.

Love the USA. My husband and I spent some time there about 3 and a half years ago, flying over and visiting California and various other touristy spots including the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Vegas etc.

Also did a stopover in New York, loved that city.

We have a few friends in the USA, I've met them via a Maine Coon cat forum I belong to.

I hope we get to visit there again someday.

Hi Grumpy*Cat*Rocks -- I'm glad you liked your tour of the states!!!  The cat we use as an avatar, that's our cat, HE's a maine-coon cat too!  His name is Augustus, which is short for Augustus Caesar, because he IS the kind, and bloody well lets us know it from time time.  Aside from THAT, there's not a hostile bone in his silly, goofy body!  If he left us, the house would seem way too quiet, and horribly empty!  But please don't tell HIM that!  He's probably going to read this post soon, so I've got to hurry here.

Hi Orabrush!!   I have never heard of that series.  Years ago, I gave up on American television completely!   I will sometimes sneak into the room and watch the newscasts, but not often.  Mostly, I get my news off of the computer!!

IS IT TRUE that if I flew to Australia that I would lose a day???  Where does it GO??
