Does anyone know of a good Cocker Spaniel breeder in Victoria?

Needs to be all black long haired.

Looking to get one for mum, like the one she had in Denmark.

Appreciate some direction from the knowledgable cocker lovers. TIA.

Also google health problems in cockers; I do not know much about this breed, but I have a feeling there are some serious ones.

Are you sure about the long-haired bit?  They look high maintenance

and don't appear to have any legs.

Good for mopping the floor though

It sounds like the cocker spaniel is the choice already made.
Registered breeder and references are essential. Mine had no health issues and was great with children.
No yapping.

Most intelligent dog apparently is a black lab then a German shepherd.

But a lab is too big for mum.

No, he's pretty good now that he's grown up but I agree they are not ideal pups for an older lady.  Cocker spaniels are beautiful and I've heard that they are very intelligent.
