I presume you mean the UNsuccessful strain wil die out; but no, not necessarily,  It just won't ever lead to evolutionary changes in the human race, because, as others have said, the offspring of homosexual individuals are most often heterosexual.

I was just responding to the EXCUSE that 'animals do it, which justifies humans doing it". It justifies NOTHING.

I don't care where a guy wants to stick his 'private bit' - that's his perogative. But trying to justify it by saying it's OK because 'animals do it' is ludicrous.

nobody said 'its ok because animals do it', they pointed out humans are not the only species who engage in homosexuality.

I would like to add that there is no question of whether its 'ok' or not.

Correct and incorrect. Yes, two people of the same sex are unable to reproduce with each other, but incorrect because homosexual people are able to reproduce via sperm donation etc.therefore, one parent would be the biological parent
