I started this diet Friday 22/08/14
The focus of this diet is to replace bread with ryvita crackers and drinks with plain water + lemon. The main food is dry beans which are soaked for 8 hours then cooked for 30min sometimes up to 1hr depends on bean. Then coated with a touch of vinegar and lemon. Then eat. I soak beans every night for the next day.
The diet goes like this:
Monday BREAKFAST: 2 ryvitas with spread cheese + coffee, LUNCH: beans, DINNER: beans with tuna or other fish.
Tuesday BREAKFAST: 2 ryvitas with spread cheese + coffee, LUNCH: beans, DINNER: beans with tuna or other fish.
Wednesday BREAKFAST: 2 ryvitas with spread cheese + coffee, LUNCH: beans, DINNER: beans with tuna or other fish.
Thursday BREAKFAST: 2 ryvitas with spread cheese + coffee, LUNCH: beans, DINNER: beans with tuna or other fish.
Friday BREAKFAST: 2 ryvitas with spread cheese + coffee, LUNCH: beans, DINNER: beans with tuna or other fish.
At lunch I sometimes add grilled fish to break the boredom or tuna.
CHEAT DAYS:
Saturday BREAKFAST eggs on toast with coffee, LUNCH: Eat anything, DINNER: Eat anything except bread
Sunday Basically same as Saturday but a bit less norti.
So far my waisteline is about 4 inches less and getting slimmer in the face.
My weight was 130kg - my target is 95kg. Lets see how far I get. LOL

LOL boris.
That's like telling an anorexic to 'just eat'
Although, you probably would
Stawks, i would never say that to an anorexic, it's a mental disorder, most fat people don't have a mental disorder, they just eat too much. I say "most" not all as there are other reasons for being fat.

That's great UFO.! very interested in your journey.
I have dropped a clothes size since I started my exercise regime. I have had about 2 weeks off but back to it on the 10th. I was told yesterday that I look much younger than my age.

I really miss lamb souvlaki with garlic sauce and thin based pizza with pepperoni and cheese. It is not fair!
This diet is driving me nuts but it's working LOL
I'm so sick of legumes right now.

In that case then Ufo, eat a healthy balanced diet and get a bit of exercise each day. Go for a walk. Join a gym, do some gardening or housework.
I had some lovely beef and stout casserole that I had in the freezer and Quinoa and brown rice with green beans tonight. Chucked in some light sour cream too 😄

Hi UFO. Glad your diet is helping you lose weight, though it's a bit unfortunate it is so boring.
perhaps you could do some research into which foods contain fats or are hi-cal or which are low GI (glycemic index).
The point is, your diet doesn't have to be boring; it just needs to contain a few fewer calories than you burn off in every day activity.
Bouono appetito 🙂 . . . . no, wait.
