and this is "gold standard" when an NRL player has been accused but not charged with a serious action (especially involving
females) that may harm the integrity
of the game and the team involved......
The player knows how important it is to maintain the integrity of the "game" and the "team" so to save the guessing they man up and
trust that any investigation official or internal will be fair and provide an outcome. There are many examples of named players either
being cleared or charged....

Federal Attorney-General Christian Porter said the investigation was a matter for the High Court to deal with.
"The High Court is entirely independent of executive government which independence extends to the management and response to matters such as this," Mr Porter said.
"I have been made aware as a courtesy by the court of the issue and how it is being managed."
