ID names and how you got there :)

I see many fantastic ID names on here and am wondering if you  could tell us how you thought of it and what  meaning it has, if any.

This is a fun thread that I thought would be a great thread for Friday.

I'd love to hear the pronunciation twyn., I'm sure it is nothing like I have translated it Smiley Very Happy

Love the wykickamoocow name.

Mine is morose Smiley Sad My beautiful daughter was dealt the hand of mental illness, all those hope and dreams we have for our kids can be a lottery.

I was sure it was a play on Waikikamukau. 🙂 I remember the first time I went to NZ my husband pronounced the name to me and I cracked up and it was then always known as whykick....  Not unlike Waipuk Tiny. You and I talked about that place a few years ago as I lived there for a few years. Bleh. Seems like a lifetime ago.

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. 😞  I've often wondered how life turned out for you (cos of Waipuk connection) as I remember when you first came on CW. Your kids must be grown up now. 🙂

My user name is the first letter in my first name and the first 5 letters in my last name.  No imagination here....at all. 🙂

I used to be not my real id, then one day someone had a big rant about how many people just lurked without posting so I decided to be the 17,260th lurker. The last 2 I added on when ebay locked me out when I couldn't change my password.

Joanie,

It's what we call a full dresser. Electra glide/ultra glide. Because of the saddle bags. It's an older term.

I don't remember if the Electra glide has a softail suspention. I know theres the "Springer" and the "Fat Boy" then the "Softail Custom" I like so much.

Saddle bags can come in handy, but on a softail style bike, or even a hard tail, I think it hides the fact that there are no visible springs. I'm gonna see if I can find pictures to load.
