Yep it was all a nasty leftie plot to undermine the moral fibre of the nation and destroy 'true blue' Irish values.

Should this not be 'true green' Irish values.

 Really?

What a pity though that we can't blame it on the Muslims.

What do the Muslims have to with it?

Try a bit of lateral thinking, Icy. The penny might drop.

Nah, I got your meaning. But why bring the Muslims into the conversation? Just for the sake of sarcasm? Lttle bit of muddying the waters?
Actually I'm surprised you haven't mention Jews yet. That's another card you like to pull out.
Along with "that is the most uninformed post I've ever heard".

I would have thought the very fact that I'm not thinking the way of the "groupthink" here shows that I'm thinking laterally. Independently.

No?

If you "got my meaning" why do you need to ask?

Just to confirm your rather high opinion of your own wit.

Let's try a little excercise in logic.

Since I'm almost certain you agree with the proposition "It's all Labor's fault" and . . .

since most Muslims in Australia vote Labor then,

blame could therefore be apportioned to Muslim Labor-voting Australians, at the very least.

What's the same here, in Australia?

The demonising of ppl who don't agree with gay marrieage. As if they had some sort of moral disorder.

And what makes you think that story has it right?  It's just as likely that those hurt by the old ways over the years have had enough and have now demanded change.

What makes you think it's not right? Because you think otherwise?

I've never seen anyone demonised for not agreeing with same sex marriage. I have seen people carry on about it being the first step towards allowing bestiality and a whole host of other undesirable side effects, none of which include any actual points of merit in the argument.  I have seen people laughed at for some of their points of opposition but not demonised.  It's the anti-ssm groups that tend to partake in the demonisation of other people, in my observation.

I didn't say the writers are wrong, nor did I state what I think about the changes.

I questioned the writer's conclusion.  Did they say how they came to that conclusion?  It's no use going to the link becaue most of the article is whited out for me so I can't read it.  Did they say they had interviewed people, done exit polling, held an online survey, or some other research to form the opinion that they wrote about?
