Julie Bishop hasn't got any experience in domestic affairs. Trotting around the world  as Foreign Affairs minister doesn't equate to her having the experience and qualities to be a Prime Minister.

Nov 2014 -

When asked about her leadership aspirations she said: 'I'm very much part of our team, and looking forward to remaining so for some time to come.'

She said being foreign minister was her dream job.

'I can assure you that this is the job that I came into politics for,' she told Sky News.

So she hasn't lived in Australia ?Has never held a job before?

Doesn't shop for herself ? or pay taxes ? or know how to live in the real world ?

What makes her different from any other politician telling us to tighten our belts while they draw the salary of the rich and have a super plan to die for ??

I must have missed something?

Can you name a politician who DOES live in the real world?

Why do you think she would make a good Prime Minister? The current one is a dud... they have to be careful who they pick to replace him.

Shopping, paying taxes, having a job.. applies to many Australian citiizens, none of those things make them Prime Minister material.

Sorry - ran out of time......

Further to my question......

None of them can experience the problems everyday Aussies experience, because they are NOT every day Aussies.

They don't have to search for jobs that aren't there, they don't have a super plan that is inadequate becase the average Aussie can't afford to contribute enough because they are too busy tryng to feed and clothe a family, they can retire after a few terms and be looked after for life, whereas the average Aussie now has to work until they drop.

It is a bloody farce, and no way can anyone drawing the income they draw even begin to undersnd what REAL LIFE is all about.

BTW - I did not say I thought Julie would make a good PM, I was just wondering if any one here had some substance to back up the claim that she would be useless other than a personal dislike of the woman.

No-one so far seems to have asked the most important question of all. If Abbott does get rolled, then regardless of who supplants him, how will it eventually  turn out to be all Labor's fault.

Awesome, that's 9/1 out of how many thousands unemployed??  and I wonder how many of those newly employed were -

1. Given a full time position (hardly likely in the hospo industry - front of house gave that away- but feel free to correct me)

2. Over 53 years old

3. Living on the Sunshine Coast

Yes, I can see, jobs are a dime a dozen, like I said, REAL WORLD people!
