Heaven help the Purple Ties once the voters discover the Custom Made Tie Department.....and the other colours available

I tend to agree with you there paints. The problem is there are so few good pollies that have any credibility and the ones that do exist are never backed by their own party. If the unions hadn't got rid of Alannah McTiernan she'd probably be state premier by now instead of Colin.

Yes because what constitutes a 'good' politician from a voters' perspective is a politician who serves the people with respect for their party and colleagues but sadly, what constitutes a 'good' politician from a political party perspective is a politician who serves the party line before the people. This is the problem with our current Bi-Partisan Political 'Party' system.
Have no fear though.....the winds are changing and the people are stirring

I agree. Remember he almost resigned once. IMO he has been biding his time waiting for this rift to occur.

Bishop has made a career of being in second place. She has had no relevant experience which a PM needs. If there is a spill, I doubt that Bishop will garner much support.

Managing partner is not 2nd place. She has plenty of experience, far more successful than some.
At least she gets elected off her own bat, beating the incumbant who turned independant.

I have recently seen a program that claimed that as early as late 1800s doctors knew that asbestos kills. They did autopsies on people who died from before unseen lung cancer and found asbestos fibers. By the 1930s asbestos should have been banned.
I watched just about all "kitchen cabinet" programs, and found almost all of the people, regardless which side of politics, interesting, Julie Bishop was the only one that I could think of that I somehow could not warm up too. I find her as interesting as blank piece of paper. I think she would make a very good fashion model.

LOL, interesting considering that he is 6ft4 and rather rotund person 🙂

She has been in second place for years, unable to lift her game.
She has not had the experience that a PM needs to have had,
I take notice of what an Australian senior political journalist has to say rather than a blow-in.
