3,809 at the moment. It doubles every 3 to 4 days. At this rate, here are the shocking results. In one week's time there will be 15,856 infections. In four weeks there will be over a million, and in 6 weeks and one day, there will be 24,000,000 infections (the whole country) With 97,419,290 deaths. That would be on May 11.

According to Scott from marketing, the average rate of increase over the last few days is 13-15% (Today's was 9%). At 15% It would double every 5 days; at 9% every 8 days.
Don't forget the spike caused by all the cruise ship passengers. All of their confirmed cases count, even though they were acquired prior to them setting foot in the country.
How can over 97 million people die out of a population of 25 million?

That last figure needs amending or it means the entire population dying four times over.
In Australia only 1% of cases are critical and out of them expect only a small percentage to succumb

Most probelm cases are imports - caught outside Australia , is why we have a chance to nip this in the bud
