I have had a few posts removed, each time I have received a courtesy message explaining why it was removed, and have been able to communicate with the mod - yes, a real live person, not a bot!!! .

Let's hope they continue this trend and don't resort to liveworld's inept system.

No one should have to turn their tag feature off just because 2 or so other posters are misusing the feature.

Apart from that posters are well able to decide for themselves what features they will use or not use on a forum.

We have new Mods who are fair, we all complained about the old ebay system now we should be happy.

I know you cant please every one but I think the new system as long as it is not abused is a good one.

they can report them just as posts can be reported as you found out can't they ? and as you said they are visible .

I do agree and feel that way about all features here including the private message facility for which myself and others feel there should be a report option (just as ebay messages has).

Blocking a sender 'afterwards' or completely disabling the message system shouldn't be the only options .

I certainly don't have a problem with them.  I don't think the old mob worked well at all and it was all very robotic.

turning the fuinction off only prevents the target from seeing the abuse , everyone else can still see it. 

A bit like a child sticking a "kick me" sign on anothers back.
