Lottsa chicks :)

Hen vanished for a few week and then reappeared with her brood, 13 chicks 🙂

All are  well now and home where they should be 🙂

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Have you named them yet?

She didn't trust her humans to look after the eggs.

Good for her, so cute.

Isn't it lucky that humans only have one at a time and on rare occasions 2 or 3.

Imagine a wayward daughter vanishing and in a few months reappearing with a brood of 13 .

The mind boggles

The names will have to wait for a while. I would hate to end up with a c.ock named Sue.

Or a hen named Bruce

We have a female cat called Eddy - she was supposed to be a boy according to my youngest daughter.  We also used to have a female budgie called Floyd. I think she has worked out the differences between the s e x e s now.
