Your theory is very possible. If Bill Spedding was at the primary school when WIlliam went missing, he would have had lots of people who would have seen him. However, even if he was there, this is a 'ring' and so it might not have been Bill 'personally'. I also think one has to question why it is that Margaret Spedding has managed to bring up a bunch of children who can't look after their own children. There's something weird about Margaret too - I'm not saying she is in the know regarding all of Bill's actions. They have not been married for long, but her family all seem to be very dysfunctional and it seems that these people all live with very loose boundaries (to put it mildly!). It's possible that Margaret procures children for her husband. As awful as that thought it, it does happen... I hope that she is just another woman in denial, as it's even harder to accept that women can be a part of this kind of crime. It's just unbelievable to me. However, it is clearly NOT 'unbelievable'. It seems that there are a lot of sexually abused children in this world, and so why are we always so shocked again and again? It's because there should NOT be ANY such children. Oh my god, where is William? It seems impossible that Bill Spedding does not have something to do with William. I mean, if Spedding knows nothing about William, that would have to be one of the most unlikely coincidences ever - I think that the girls that Spedding abused (who are now women) came forward when they heard about Bill being in the vicinity.
