Men in Blue ties.

Too late, but laughing anyway ๐Ÿ˜„

I agree with you and icy. People should always be chosen through merit. Only one female made the grade, according to tony, so which is right?

- the liberal party attracts incompetent females?

- the liberal party attracts competent females but the leader is sexist so they're excluded?

Men in Blue ties.

Tony Abbott says there are women knocking on the door of cabinet.

Sometimes I wish I was a cartoonist. I can see the picture now - a heavy, metal studded door with a plaque on it saying TONY'S CABINET, a group of women beating their fists on the door and a male face peering out through a grille.

The caption would read: (in true blue, patriotic, Aussie style)

" **BLEEP** OFF WE'RE FULL."

Maybe, just maybe they don't have any women qualified enough to do the tough job required to get this country back on its feet. I am sure if there were women capable they would be on the front bench. All you people who only want to critisize and not give this new government a chance "GET OVER IT"

Keep it nice, I might cry if you write anything upsetting (like not)

PM elect Tony Abbott promised a steady hand in govt with no "announcements" or thought bubbles. His front bench has not changed for 3 years so I would expect he'd stick with a winning formula.

As for the "misogynist" tag, well I don't think after he's seen off all the labor smear tactics he's going to buckle under now. Women will get top jobs, women will be promoted to the ministry but as he said, A top team is what he's had for 3 years & what he's keeping in place for the moment.

The phony gender wars waged by the failed Gillard/Rudd disgraceful govt can go jump over its empty rhetoric.  Sore losers trying to hang onto anything from the last totally failed Labor is transparent & pathetic really. Move on, or if your incapable of that, move out.

As for the men in blue ties, I'd be ashamed to ever mention that fiasco of Gillards, that's what saw her off, finished her, it was so stupid & desperate & lookee here...... here's someone who doesn't keep up trying to ressurrect it.

What a load of garbage. The country is firmly on it's feet and we have plenty of talented capable women!

Everyone laughed at Julia Gillard and it turns out she was spot on.

BTW. Some of the females on the his side are not happy either.
