Sorry i missed that, I did see some impressive stars a couple nights ago, kinda drawn in by the dazzaling sight. Remembering some of the documentaries i watched, and how I was looking back in time. Seeing them as they were many years ago and conteplating the possibility that they might not be there by the time their light reached me.

Some stars sure are were a l-o-n-g way away.
To be not there, yet we can still see them.
Still amazes me.

we went for a drive, north east and found a football oval with no lighting so we could watch. I saw four, 2 big ones that were like Kopes described and I could see smoke trails behind them, the other two looked just like shooting stars Our daughter onlty saw one and hubby saw none (because he was too slow to look in the right direction)
we waited till 11.45 and gave up as we hadn't seen one for awhile
