Or perhaps dance like Ginger Rogers?
No they are supposed to help with swollen legs and feet.

They work, but obviously only if you're wearing 'em.
Due to odaema, (swelling) in my lower legs, caused by failing kidneys, caused by diabetes, I've taken to wearing them, as all medications tried so far have failed to reduce the swelling.
Also tried a whole raft of excercises - also to no avail. Walking, bikeriding, no squats, knees are shot, too, and a range of machines at the gym.
My GP suggested them, and until I remove them to go to bed, (a must), they substantailly reduce the swelling.
In bed and prone, the swelling doesn't occur, but as soon as I'm vertical in the morning - I can feel the swelling start. So yeah, the socks work well.
I was more than a little concerned, as the GP told me that continuous swelling can and will, lead to ulcers - which if bad enough, can lead to amputation!
Scared the h3!! out of me.

If they are for you, and the swelling is recent, think also about dehydration. With the hotter weather drinking more water can help.

i got pressure socks, full length. i even got a black pair somewhere from ebay (don't know where though).
i only put them on when my legs feel bad. putting the legs up helps too.
i tried to wear them at night but noticed that they make me itchy if i wear them more than a few hours.
don't know about wonder socks, why not just use good ol' pressure socks?
they work fine and are worth the money.
