This thread is dedicated to my Mother and her recovery.
On Monday the 4th June 2007, while holidaying in the UK with my Father, my Mother was struck by a van while crossing the road.
Mum spent 88 days in various UK hospitals before finally being brought home back to Australia on the 30th August 2007.
She is currently in The John Whittle Nursing Facility with brain damage
I have set up this thread to keep you all updated on her condition and her improvements and hopefully one day, Mum will be able to read it.

TPG are a good mob hawk, but dad can't call and talk to them.
He is a complete computer dummy.
He wont understand anything they tell him to do.
Well, i just talked to mum on the phone. Havent spoken to her for ages. Told her all about what we have been doing during the school holidays.
Asked her, begged her, cried for her to make a noise for me so i know she is there and can hear me.
Got nothing.
My sister told me the whole time i talked to her she just looked out the window.

Dad seemed quite down this weekend.
Says mum is not reacting to much lately.
I said "Perhaps she has given up Dad. Perhaps she's had enough?"
He quickly responded with "No, she hasnt given up. I will know when she's given up. She's just having a bad time at the moment but she still wants to be here"
